This session will offer an in-depth look of the French for All initiative and the French Embassy's educational programs, which support the growth and enrichment of French education and bilingualism in the United States, from kindergarten through higher education. Participants will learn about various Calls for Proposals designed to support school districts, higher education French departments, and teachers. The session will also highlight the inaugural French for All Summer Institute, which will gather over 100 teachers for a week-long professional development program tailored to diverse teaching tracks. This session will showcase practical ways to use available resources and examples of implemented projects through the embassy grants. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and a collaborative discussion with presenters.

Although the combined split-level class is a common reality in our French programs, there are few resources available to help teachers approach this unique challenge. This presentation will explore strategies and resources to differentiate intermediate French instruction while ensuring all students stay engaged and challenged. Attendees will take away concrete examples of scaffolding ideas for different proficiency levels, strategies to align AP and non-AP content without lowering rigor, and ways to incorporate flexible assessments, small-group instruction, and project-based learning.
